A module-flag pattern gates the intro curtain so it plays exactly once per session — first visit gets the reveal, every navigation after is instant. Ceremony without a tax on repeat views.

Vimeo as the CMS
Reels stream straight from the filmmaker's Vimeo library, so the portfolio updates itself when he publishes. No admin panel to maintain, no stale copies of his work.

Grain, cursor, black
A film-grain overlay and a custom cursor are the only ornaments on an otherwise black canvas — the restraint keeps every frame of footage as the loudest element on screen.
